A vehicle manufacturer requires new generation steering pumps for a new car model.
Our customer, a leading global automotive supplier, needs to adapt several existing machines to work with several of the old processes and introduce some new ones.
Firstly, our customer requested a prototype of the air leakage test tooling for the next generation of steering pumps. After the prototype was considered suitable, the new design was sent to manufacturing. The next step was to reassemble the already refurbished machine and have the programmers introduce the new operating sequences. Finally, the laser marker for the new pump needed some redesign as well; in addition to the introduction of a artificial vision camera to verify the OK.
DINABI provided the conceptual design and final detail design, the selection of all commercial elements, production of manufacturing drawings, support and service during installation and commissioning.
